This newsletter is brought to you today by the letter A.
Why?
Lately life’s been hairy and the demands on my energy and time have left me unable to write at all, yet I love letters, words, and hanging with you.
I know this current storm won’t last and I’ll return soon with writing that will have called on both my skills and soul, but today is not that day. Instead you’re getting a collection of words that currently hold meaning for me…perhaps you’ll catch a glimpse of yourself in them.
A stands for
ALLOWING - as in striving to be more accepting of things. This seems especially important when we MOST WANT THINGS TO BE DIFFERENT THAN THEY ARE. It’s my wish to be able to sit in whatever is happening without trying to control things that are beyond me. I think the key here is “in things that are beyond me” like illness, grief, other people’s business, for example. Let’s try to allow those things to be what they are.
