One of my biggest fears is that I will get to the end of my life and realize I did not live it. It’s been my experience that humans are divided into two camps: the fear of dying or the fear of not having fully lived your life. I discovered this through a little market research amongst my friends, just some light conversation about our greatest fears. I bet you’re thinking wow, I’m pretty darn glad I’m not hanging with HER if that’s what she wants to talk about with her buddies!
From this vantage point, while I’m not keen on death, I think I’m more scared of not having lived up to my whole self. Do you ever feel like that? If you do, I think it’s worthwhile to ask where are you now and what you need next.
Think about it.
Stop what you’re doing and ask yourself what you need next.
