Whatever comes after “I AM…” is going to follow you around. I’ve been followed by some big scary monsters, as well as some insidious little devils but rarely (which means never) have I been consistently followed by something like “I AM a bright, shiny person who has a lot to contribute”. Can you imagine how wonderful it would be if THAT’S what was following us around?!
Such a powerful reminder to be careful with our words and our self talk.
This is actually so helpful for me, because I’m realising that I am always saying “I am busy, I don’t have enough time” and that just saying that keeps me stuck in that belief.
Thank you, Donna, this was very helpful.
P.S. — I didn’t receive this post in my email... (and normally I receive all your posts that way). So, do you know if that’s a possibly a glitch on my end? Or did you not send this post out by email?
I only just came across your post now, because I saw on notes that the one and only Mr. Troy Ford had shared it. Just thought I’d let you know/ query that...
Actually scratch that, I just realised that this post is from March, which explains why I didn’t receive it in my email this week haha — sorry for the confusion.
I love this! What a great way to check in, however often you can, but also to set aspirations for what you want to be. I've got a new Post-It over my desk:
I AM impressed :)
This was great, Donna.

(thanks to Donna M.) ❤️
